About

I’m Andrés Carnevali, an independent visual artist based in Málaga, Spain. Co-founder and former videographer of ZIMA Visuales. Covering video and photography specialising in endurance sports documentaries and events. My focus has always been on emotionally driven stories, whether the purpose is informative, entertainment or commercial.

Raised around competitive sport, I have always applied the same discipline and philosophy to all my projects, keeping evolution and growth at the core of my working ethics.

Sport has not only taught me the value of consistency and hard work, but also the ability to adapt, improvise and perform under pressure. Travelling and ‘working on the go’ with only the indispensable has been my bread and butter for years. Studios are fine, but the world is much better.

Fluent in Spanish, English and German, I’m comfortable working with international clients and crews, whether as part of a team on the ground in Málaga or travelling wherever the story is.

While all artists have personality and style of their own, understanding the needs and purpose of each client is a skill in itself I have always strived for, always finding a unique way to showcase a product, story or message.
